How To Boost Your Affiliate Commissions Overnight

I had list down the benefits of being in the affiliate marketing and reasons of why everyone should consider work in this business in one of my previous articles.

Affiliate marketing is one of the easiest way to launching into an online business and earning profits because it does not requiring having your won website, dealing with customers, refunds, product development and maintenance. Merchant will do all of this for you.

Assuming now you are already into an affiliate program, what would be the next thing that you want to do? Double or even triple your commissions, right?

But how do you do that?

The following are the 6 powerful tips on how to boost your affiliate program commissions overnight.

1. Know the best program and products to promote

I believe this - You, I and everyone else who are in the affiliate marketing are all want to promote a program that will enable everybody to achieve the greatest profits. This is pretty obvious and without doubt.

In order to get into the best affiliate program, there are several factors you have to consider in the process of selecting it.

• Commission structure – the program should have a generous commission structure and it has products that fit in with your target audiences.

• Track record – the program should have a solid track record of paying their affiliate easily and on time. You don’t want to receive your check after 90 days, do you? If your budgets do not allow you to continuing increase the investments, then dump that program and keep looking for better ones.

Speaking of dump the program, you don’t need to worry about can’t find the good program to join and promote. There are thousands of affiliate programs on the Internet, so you have reasons to be picky.

It is better for to take little bit more time and select the best program rather than just simply put your time, effort and money into a program that will cause you losing your advertising dollars later.

2. Write your own free report and distribute on your site

Each day, there are thousands affiliates are promoting the same program. In order to distinguish yourself from other affiliates and improve your commission status, write short reports that related to the product you are promoting and distribute them from your site is a good strategy to use.

If you can provide some valuable information for free in your report and add some recommendations about the products that you are promoting, you will get credibility. Customers will see you and they will be interested to try out what you are offering.

3. Collect and save the email addresses of those who download your free reports

The reason for collect the contact information of those who downloaded your reports is because it is a known fact that people do not make a purchase on the first solicitation. You may want to send out your message more than six or eight times to make a sale, sometime even more.

But don’t afraid and don’t give up so easily if you didn’t see any sale made after you sent out these messages. You can use follow up strategy and send these contacts your follow-ups message to remind them to make a purchase from you.

Get the contact information of a prospect before sending them to the vendor or merchant’s website is one of many important steps for you to enhance your commission status.

Remember, you don’t own the website, you are not the owner of the program and products, you are providing free advertisement for the product owners. You get paid only when you make a sale. If you send prospects directly to the vendors or merchants, chances are they would be lost to you forever.

But once you get their names, you can always send other marketing messages to them to be able to earn an ongoing commission instead of a one-time sale only. That is what we called ‘own mailing list’.

4. Publish online newsletter or Ezine

In addition, publish an online newsletter or Ezine to recommend a product to someone you know are much better than to sell to a stranger. This is the purpose behind publishing your own newsletter. It also allows you to develop a relationship based on trust with your subscribers.

After time being you will be able to build a sense of reciprocity in your readers if you providing them useful information and continue write informative editorials, which my lead them support you by buying your products.

5. Ask for higher than normal commission from merchants

If you are already successful with a particular promotion, you should try and approach the merchant and negotiate a percentages commission for your sales. If the merchant is smart, he or she will likely grant your request rather than lose a valuable asset in you.

Remember in the affiliate marketing, you are a zero-risk investment to your merchant; requesting for addition in your commissions that you deserve is not a shy thing to do, as long as you are reasonable about it.

If merchant does not agree with your request, you still can promote his / her products and earn commissions and won’t be get fired.

6. Write Your Ads

Pay per click (PPC) search engine is the most effective strategy for advertising online; it is important to write strong pay per click ads and bring the traffic to your site.

As an affiliate, you can make a small income just by managing PPC campaigns such as Google Adwords and Overture. After that, you need to monitor them and find out which ads are more effective and which ones are not. Delete those non-effective ads and save dollars for those good ads.

Take your time and try out these above strategies, then you will see the number on your commission checks become different.
