How To Host A Bachelorette Party
By Catherine Olivia

There could be no more fun way to say "goodbye" to your old single but soon-to-be-married girlfriend than hosting her bachelorette party. A bachelorette party can be as subdued, or as wild as you choose. Most importantly, the party should reflect the bride-to-be and what you know she would be comfortable with.

Some brides-to-be opt to have a bachelorette party that is as simple as a quiet dinner out with girlfriends followed by a Broadway type show, or a movie. Others opt for a day of spa pampering with her friends, or even an old fashioned pajama party. Other brides-to-be tend to be on the wild and uninhibited side and appreciate a bachelorette party that is as wild as they are. Some choose to have what is called a "pub crawl" visiting their favorite watering holes. This would be the perfect time for all the invited guests to chip in for a limo so that everyone can have a good time drinking and partying and not worry about the driving. Sometimes the highlight of a bachelorette party is a visit from a male stripper or a trip to the closest male revue show. The partiers could crash afterwards at the hosts home and enjoy, or try to enjoy, breakfast in the morning.

If you choose to host a bachelorette party at home there are many different themes you can choose from. Some theme party suggestions are Bachelorette Survivor, Wet Bachelorette Party, Sorority Bachelorette Party and Roman Theme Bachelorette Party. There are many different and fun games that can be played such as Pin the Hose on the Fireman, and you won't be at any loss for fun with all the gag gifts available.

If you choose a night out on the town some fun games that can be taken with you that would insure a wild time are the Bachelorette Bar Challenge, Bachelorette Dice and Bachelorette Dare.

If you choose to go out on the town, you might want to check out Birdy's Bachelorette Party in New York City, which is a "comedy about a girl struggling to keep it together on the craziest night of her life." You are actually a party guest at this interactive bachelorette party that boasts a raucous atmosphere, complete with hunky strippers!

There are sites online dedicated to bachelorette parties that can give you many different and fun ideas.
