How to Review A Site for ReviewToolBar.com
By David Feinleib

Review Toolbar is the newest thing in toolbars today. This handy little tool will go along way towards making the Internet a much more useful and interesting place for everyone! The websites that have been reviewed by Review Toolbar members are honest opinions of people just like you – which make them the most valuable reviews on the Internet today. No hype, no sales copy, no fake testimonials. These are just real reviews, written by real web surfers.

If you want to help make the Internet a better place for everyone, you should download your free Review Toolbar today, and start submitting reviews of your favorite websites. You should also submit reviews of websites that you don’t like. Your opinion really does count. But you should note that a lot of responsibility goes into reviewing a website!

Don’t let this care you away. Instead, just make sure that you follow a few sensible guidelines before submitting your first review using Review Toolbar. Begin by really looking at what the site has to offer. There are many different types of websites. Some are there simply for the purpose of selling something. Others are there for the purpose of sharing information. Still others are used to build communities of people with common interests. Others are simply junk sites that have no real purpose or meaning at all. Before submitting a rating, make sure that you know which kind of site you are visiting.

If the site is selling a product, and you have not used that product, it might be best not to rate the site. You can rate the design of the site, but that isn’t really what the members of Review Toolbar are looking for in most cases. They want to know how useful the information or products found on a site are. They want to know how easy the site is to navigate. They want to know if you have been scammed through that website.

However, if the design of the website is really outstanding, you might submit a review that states this. If the website causes your computer to crash, you might also want to let other users know his as well. There are many things that one can say about websites.

Having a voice is the same as having a measure of power. Do not allow this new power to be used in a malicious way. The users of Review Toolbar really depend on the reviews to find great websites and good information. Do not submit inaccurate or profane reviews. Do not give a site a bad review simply because you personally know and hate the webmaster. Again, people depend on these reviews, and if you are malicious in your reviews, people will eventually stop listening to what you have to say!

There are specific things you should look for when you review a site: content, navigation, ease of use, design, and quality of products or services. Does the site offer valuable content? Is that content well written? Can you easily move around the site without getting lost, or becoming overwhelmed with the information or navigation? When you interacted with the website, was the interaction easy or complicated? How does the page look, overall? How quickly do the pages load? If you ordered products or services, how easy was it to order? How soon did the order arrive? Was it everything that was promised?

These are the things that Review Toolbar users want to know when they read reviews, and it is up to you to submit reviews responsibly. You can even submit a review of your own website, as long as you don’t make it sound like an advertisement. Be honest – especially with yourself! After submitting reviews, you should login to your Review Toolbar account, at www.reviewtoolbar.com, periodically to update your reviews. Visit those sites again to see if improvements have been made, or if the site has really gone downhill. Edit your reviews accordingly.

Submitting a review is quite easy. When you visit a website that you want to review – whether that review is good or bad – simply click the ‘add a review’ button on the toolbar. A small box will pop-up, and you will be able to rate the site, and add your comments. Hit the send button, and you are done! Reviewing a website can take as little as one minute or even less – depending on what you want to say about the website.

If you think that you are a good judge of websites, get in on the reviews and be heard! Signing up with Review Toolbar is very easy, and it is free. Simply visit www.reviewtoolbar.com, download and install the toolbar, and then sign up for your free account. The web doesn’t get any better than this!
